Candlelight Processional

Has anyone called this morning? I tried, but I missed the 7:00 a.m. mark, and went I did get through, I was put on hold for forever and ended up just hanging up.

I really expected the package to open today since I believe tomorrow is whent he ADR opens for resort guests who are going on the day of the first package.

I think, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the first Candle Light Processional is the day AFTER Thanksgiving, which would be 11/24, therefore the 180 day mark would be Sunday 5/28.

Yes, you are right. The first performance for the Candlelight Processional does not start until Friday, November 24th, which is the day after Thanksgiving.

Yes the 180 day mark for the 24th of November is this Sunday, May 28th. This is my arrival day and I have my list to make my adr's first thing that morning. :cool1:

We plan to get the CP package. We want to go to the 5:00 show and eat after at Marrakesh. Can anyone tell me what time to make the ADR for?

Thanks!

Just a quick thanks to all who are posting this information. It's extremely helpful! :thumbsup2

I am hoping to go on Thursday, December 14th, and like just about everyone else, am wanting to eat at Le Cellier! The 180 day mark is fast approaching and I am wondering what I'm going to do??? :confused3 I guess I'll make an ADR for Le Cellier and then decide whether or not the package is worth it to me this time. I may just do the standby line.

Thanks again!

The CM at dining will give you a range of times to choose from.

For an example, we ate at 4:30p for the 6:45p show.

The show is about 40 minutes long so you probably won't want to make an ADR till at least 6:15p or 6:30p so you have time to get there after the show.

Arg. This is so frustrating!!! I wish we just had a straight answer!!!! :( Oh well, guess we all have to keep checking back!!! Thanks for all of the info everyone!! We'll get our CP packages if it kills us!!!! :)

My 180 mark is this Sunday. Will make all my ADR's, including dinners at EPCOT. This way I know I have dinner reservations at the location and time that I want.

Then will call when the CP dinner packages open up and hopefully get the show time and dinner time that I am looking for. If so, then I will cancel my ADR AFTER the CP dinner package has been booked. If not, then I will do the standby line and go to my ADR time and restaurant.

My mind set on all of this is better safe than sorry.

Terk - I guess I'll be seeing you on the phone that morning. I'll be up at 7am as well trying to switch our ADR time for Le Cellier.

I have a question about ADR's at WDW. This year we plan on doing character meals almost every day we are there. Does this mean that I have to call every day at the 180 mark or can I call and make them all?

Thanks for the info on these boards it has been very helpful.

What does everyone think - I'm debating between 2 dates for the CP now. Also with ADRs at Le Cellier (I'm just going to make ADRs and try to book a package later and cancel the ADRs).

Either Tuesday, Dec. 12th or Friday, Dec. 15th

Friday will be our last full day in WDW, so I'm leaning towards then because it would be a special way to end it - BUT I'm worried about the popularity of that day b/c it's a Friday. What does everyone else thinK?

Are you staying on property? If yes, then you can make ALL your ADRs once you hit the 180 day from your arrival date, plus 10 more days basically covering your whole stay.

Do not get discouraged if you can't get a ADR or time that you want when you are in the +10 days. Call back on the 180 day mark, more tables/times will be open.

I'd say which ever works into your schedule better. The ONLY day we can do CP is 11/24, the FIRST day it is available, which also happnes to be the lasy full day we are at WDW.

Thank you very much. Yes I am staying on property. I tried it in 2003 and loved the benefits that staying on property offers. especially package delivery to your hotel, early entry, and room card charges. This just adds one more perk to staying on property (plus saves on long diatance calls for ADR's.

Again thank you.

for me it would depend alot on the speakers...

Last year I was all set to go on a tuesday night UNTIL the speakers were released...then I moved my schedule around to go on Thurs. I did not want to see Phil Donaghue! I saw Haley Joel Osmond instead (he wasn't that great either!).

So I'd keep both nights you're thinking of going to CP kind of flexible and decide when the speakers are announced. That's what I'd do anyway.

If you do the package then it doesn't really matter that one of your nights is a Friday.

DW and I have also been waiting for the release of the narrators and called to find out when they would be released. We were advised by the CM that it would be mid to late Aug, He told us to make our ADR for a dinner, and then we would have to cancel that ADR and reschedule, but they could not transfer an existing ADR over to the CP package, you had cancel and re-book. :confused3

Hey Terk-1 Lets see who gets first Sunday. I wll be calling Sunday morning as well. Will report back here when finished and let you all know how I make out..

I was reading about the package on Allears and it said that the dinner times for the 5:00 show are at 7:00. Is that a general recommendation or is that the only time you can reserve dinner? Why would there be so much time b/t show and dinner? I was thinking that the dinner reservation could be around 6:15 or 6:30.

It was like that last year too. Not trying to sugar-coat it at all... they have some pretty crazy ADR times based on what show you want to see. So go into it understanding you might not get the exact time you want-- and maybe not even close to it.
