I called today. The CM I talked to knew exactly what I was talking about...thank goodness!! Anyway, he said they were being loaded and should be ready to go by June 1st. However, when I told him I was told Saturday or Monday he said to check back daily. He said they would all be realeased at the same time.

When I do the calculation to see when the 180 day mark is for the day after Thanksgiving (November 24th), it is showing May 28th.

yep. thats what I get! but maybe it starts a week earlier.

OR

Maybe they are taking into account the 180 + 10, which i imagine is what they are doing.

At any rate, I am calling tomorrow to get all the details to help me finalize my adr planning for when i have to reserve on June 4th. (or is it the5th? ) YEA ME

Well I get to call this Saturday for my ADR's, Im still hard at work on them, considering I usually book only 1 or 2 ! (we usually go in January but we are going around Thanksgiving so I want to be prepared). If anything happens Ill be watching this thread! Im pretty flexible on days and times but want Le Cellier so hopefully I'll get that.

ALSO since its a 'set price' is it a set menu???

i called this afternoon to ask that very question, and the CM said that they werent' getting anything until august as thats when they got it last year. i explained to her that a supervisor said to me that monday was the day. she said i was wrong.

we will find out tomorrow! LOL but she did answer my question *(did she answer it right tho?):

its put into packages, and u are not restriced to a set menu ...she said on the dining plan, we get our appetizer meal and dessert. we still get that. the reason for the paid packages is for those not on the dining plan. This way for their choice restaurant, they are paying $x and getting appetizer meal and dessert. disney dining plan: 1 credit. Non dining plan: you pay the price for the restaurant of your choosing.

I,too, was wondering about ADR's since they are now 180 days out. I would think it would be very complex to be making regular ADR's 180 days out, but still keeping openings for packages when they are opened in Aug. Wouldn't it make more sense to just have it all at 180? It's not like you HAVE to announce the speakers. If people really want to see it, they'll take what they get. (This from a "never been to CP before" person) That's just my thinking ... a non-complex kind of gal! Thanks to all the posters who are keeping track. My magical ADR date is June 7th!!!

Does anyone know what time dining opens tomorrow morning for reservations. It will probably be the same as MVMCP. We will have to call several times before we actually get someone who knows how to find it in the computer.

They open at 6 am cst and 7 am est.
I'm sure you're correct. It will take someone who knows what they are doing before they figure out that they can be booked!

When I called to make a reservation for the new MGM meal, it wasn't till the 3rd CM before they even checked their computer.

Subscribing...I emailed our TA to say that there was conflicting information on the release date and gave her our preferences to hold on file...Gosh, I feel like such a slacker this year, using a TA!!

Was anyone successful? I called three times, got three different CM, and all three told me not until August. I want to see the CLP on Christmas Day. If they don't open these until August, what are the chances of my restaurant still having openings for Christmas Day left?

I haven't even been able to get through this morning...well, once, but I heard Spanish only. DS is only in his first year so I'm still on hold again.

I must be really lucky on getting through. I just talked to my 4th CM. First, she said sure. Then, after trying to get her computer to take, she said that she didn't think they were released yet. She put me on hold for about five minutes and came back and said that the packages were not being offered until mid to late Aug because the narrators could not be confirmed until then. She was told to advise me that when 180 mark came up to call and make a normal ADR for Garden Grill and then in August I could convert it to a package.

What do you guys think about this? I seem to remember that one of you posted that you were advised that a regular ADR could not be converted to a package.

When I talked with the supervisor on Sat am, she read the email and it said 100% that ADRs could NOT be turned into the CP.

I wrote an email to Guest Communications. I'll post what they say in their response. Hopefully, it will be something worthwhile. I'm annoyed about all these different answers!
