We saw it over at DL just trying to get through main street a couple of years ago. Being that I'm not of that religion, for me it was just a headache trying to navigate the crowds (it was a nightmare on main st). And goodness were there crowds. I'm sure it's great for christian folks, but be prepared to be packed in like a sardine from what I've seen and heard.
It's totally different at WDW. It's at the American Gardens theater at Epcot, rather than right in the middle of Main Street in MK, so the path through WS shouldn't get blocked. (I say "shouldn't" because I don't know how many people might be standing in the pathway to try to see a really popular narrator like Neil Patrick Harris, but it's still a pretty wide pathway.)
You may end up in a long line waiting to get in for a seat, but that's it. It's held in the American Pavilion so they only let in the amount of people that can fit in the seats; after that it's standing room only in the back, outside the pavilion. The walkway through America may sometimes get a little congested although that wasn't my experience (was a bit more crowded when NPH was there compared to Geena Davis) You can heard the narration and singing when you pass by, and you can catch glimpses even when not inside the pavilion, but it doesn't really disrupt those choosing not to view the show the way it sounds like it might in DL, although that's my opinion.
. It's probably more important if your narrator is one of the more popular ones.
