I don't know if anyone has reported this so please join this thread to the other if needed.
For those who want to see the Candlelight Processional but were worried about finding space in the standing area, we had no problem walking up at any time during the show last night and finding a place to stand towards the back. Because the show is up on risers, it is really easy to see everything no matter how far back you are.
We were walking out of the park about 6:00 and could have easily slid into the back of the standing area (plenty of room). Then we came back into the park about 5 minutes into the 7:30 show and I also found it really easy to find a place to stand.
I also thought they were doing an excellent job with the crowd control. They had Main Street blocked off so you had to walk on the sidewalks. But they always kept the traffic flowing in one direction. So stay to your right and just follow the flow.
And while I expected the park to be a little quieter due to the rain, it was actually a pretty busy night. So I think they handled it all very well. Both as a passer-by, and someone that wanted to see the show, we had no problem at all
My only regret was that we did not watch the 5:30 show but decided to come back later for the 7:30 show and it was cancelled about 40 minutes into the show because of the rain. But it was my first time seeing it at all and I really enjoyed what I did get to see.
I hope that this continues for the remainder of the 20 nights so that everyone that wants to see it can and everyone that doesn't, can easily get around it
