Hi, I have the opportunity to do the Candlelight Processional and have to choose between 12/17 and 12/21. I know there is the MVMCP going on at MK on the 17th. Do you think the crowd at Epcot for the Processional will be smaller on the 17th or the 21st? I am trying to just use fastpass + for the processional and don't know if this is a mistake. All help is very appreciated. thanks.

I don't believe you can use a FP at candlelight processional. There are two lines. One is for those who purchased a dining package that includes priority seating at CP. This line is let in first. The other line is standby. I have seen people line up 90 minutes ahead. I have never noticed a difference as to whether MVMCP is happening or not. In my experience the crowds build the closer you get to Christmas and weekends are the worst. The Holiday season is a wonderful time to visit!

The thing that will really determine the crowd level is the narrator, and since those have not been announced, it's hard to tell. As PP said, the closer to Christmas the overall more crowded the parks will be.

You are the second person I've seen refer to a FP+ for the Processional. That has not been an option in the past. Did you see something somewhere to make you think it is an option?

Last year, they offered special "come back at show-time" passes to guests who showed up at the American Gardens Theater about 1PM the day-of.
They were not FPs, but they worked in a similar way for those who received them.

I remember the wrist band things they did for some of the CPs last year. Over on the dining board, someone was asking if getting the CP pkg was better than getting a FP+, and they meant the usual FP+. Everyone jumped on saying there was no FP+. Now this one mentions it again, so I was wondering why they think there is one or if they had seen it in a list of things available for FP+.

It has always been packed with a long line an hour before the show every time I have seen it. My best guess is the narrator determines just how early the line forms.
