This will be our first Christmas trip...I booked the dining reservation that takes 2 table serves, is it worth it and how does it work?

Since you're in the budget forum, I'm going to say, no, it's not worth two credits. For that extra credit, you might get an appetizer and you'll get a ticket to the show. That doesn't seem worth twice the "price" to me. Now, if you compare the cash prices, it might be worthwhile depending on where and how you eat.

It depends on the crowds on the day you go. You might stand in line for an hour, maybe three without the dining ticket.

Have you looked into paying oop for a lunch ticket?

I'm going December 18 and made a lunch reservation at Biergarten restaurant for $44 a person. I think that is about as inexpensive as it gets for CP restaurants.

I don't think that it's worth spending 2 TS for what you get. The only extras that you get with the CP dining is appetizers with your meal and priority seating at the CP. However, if you pay OOP for the meal, I think that it has value, because you can spend a lot of time waiting in the standby line for some of the more popular narrators. Time is money when you have already paid to just enter the park, so it can be worth the increased dining charges.

It would be worth it not to stand in line for hours...I guess we'll do it because we probably won't do Christmas there again.

we did the package. It was worth it to us but we paid out of pocket. We have bought the Fantasmic package, too.
