We have reservations for for todays first show. If its raining, do the put up some type of cover over the ampitheather and the audience?

Unfortunately, no. If you are early enough, you may get one of the covered area seats. If not, I recommend rain gear, an umbrella or both to stay dry.

Thank you. We found this out the hard way. Terrible rain during our show. I'm 2 for 2 on getting heavy rain for special holiday events . I won't be booking anymore . I don't think it's worth it to pay extra money for a meal for reserve seats at a special events . especially when you can hear the music and the narration and see the choir without reserve seats . I paid over 41 dollars for lunch at rose and crown for a hamburger and sat in pouring rain with very rude people around me for something I could have stood under the awning at the american pavilion and listen to an actually be able to see

As noted, the show goes on rain or shine, and there is no extra protection from the rain provided for guests seated outside the stage "overhang."
