Everybody says the candlelight Processional is not to be missed. I am planning to eat at Le Cellier anyway, so I can't decide if I should just do the CP & meal combo. I have three kids who will be 7, 5 and 18 months when we go. Are they going to enjoy it or go stir crazy:scared: ? Has anyone gone with their kids and how did it go?

We took our kids when they were 14 months & 2 years of age. They did really well with it. Canada has a nice kids menu. It is a bit fancy for such young kids, so bring lots of things to keep them busy. We loved the meal there. The place is beautiful and the food was excellent.

We really enjoyed the show and it was soooooo great not having to show up early and wait on that really long line. The lines get crazy and don't recommend waiting on it with such small children. You want them to sit for the show, so you may lose them on the line. We showed up 10 minutes before the show began. Our seats were very close. We went to the early seating and show for the kids. We didn't make it to the end of the show because both boys did start to get fussy. But we loved what we saw.

Even with the dining I'd still arrive alot earlier then they advise to get good seating. We arrived on schedule but many seats were gone. My MIL is legally blind so they found us a seat right at the front on the side. Being off to the side we could hardly see anything of the main performance. My boys were 20 mos and 4 at the time and they were quite a handful. Without being able to see the main area they were bored. My husband at the end said he wound't do it again. My MIL (who wasn't dealing with the children) loved every minute of it.

We have done the CP every year for the past 15 years. The performance is very adult. The true Christmas story narrated by a celebrity, Christmas carols and beautiful music. No Santa, no Frosty and really nothing for children. From what I have witnessed, the adults seem to enjoy the program much more than the younger children. And everyone knows, when the child is not happy, everyone around them is not happy.

Has anyone heard when the CP packages are going on sale this year? Last, year I think it was in August....???

I would def. do the CP!! We took 2 kids (my DS 14 mos. & a family member 22 mos.) and they did great. We ate at Mexico & that wasn't our favorite b/c they didn't love the food but the show itself was just great. Sure there's no Santa, etc. but my kids loved the story, music, everything. I am hoping for the same experience this year when we take the same 2 kids (who will be 5 at the time) & my DD2. It's my favorite Christmas event in all of Disneyworld.
