Also, if you plan to take any photos, my experience has been that they turn out better at the earlier show when it's not completely dark. Doesn't seem to matter what camera I'm using either. Even though I have a DSLR that sees very well in the dark, the lighting just doesn't seem as harsh when there is still some daylight around. This can be very important if you are a big fan of your narrator and want some good photos to take home. Add in the fact that if you're doing the package, the lunch packages are usually less expensive, and the early show is a win-win for me.
