Candlelight processional help

We have a package meal for the Candlelight Processional. We will be eating at the Garden Grill at 5:30 (have to have my son's fill of characters ) We will be seeing the 8:15 showing of the CP.

What time should we stand in line? Is there is special line for guest that have packages? Also we are going on 12/13 which is a Saturday, so it might be a little busier.

Oh and afterwards we will be able to catch IllumiNations that starts at 9:30? Where is a good place to stand to see IllumiNation after we leave the CP?

There are seperate lines (one on either side of the theatre) for package and standby guests, just make sure you get on the right one. The package line can be veeerrry long, but it moves very quick once they start seating. Even with the preferred seating, some seats are better than others. So the earlier you get on line the better the sea you might get. I really can say when you should get on line. We are always running late and never seem to show up until 15 or 20 minutes before the show. We have usually gotten a decent seat, but getting there earlier might have gotten us better.

As for Illuminations you will be able to see it after the CP. Last year we just hung out in the area to the right of the theatre and it was fine.

Another tip - if you are staying on property, you can pick up your package at your resort upon check instead of waiting in the line at EPCOT.

To pick up your package yes..............but you will still have to wait on line at the theatre for show seating.
