Glad that is over....CM was efficient and cheerful...got exactly what we wanted, total call and wait time was 45 minutes.

11/28 8:15 show 5:05 at Tutto Italia

I wanted to eat at Chefs but have never been there and was afraid to have my Christmasy feeling lessened by trying a new-to-me restaurant. Of course I haven't been to Tutto either....but won't have to walk as far to get to the show afterwards.

i started calling at 6:55am - at 7:05, after nothing but busy signals or network busy messages, i started rediailing on 3 different cell phones. finally :got through at 7:17 - was told 30 minute wait - still on hold.....hope i don't get the idiot referenced above....currently working on alternate plans to split up our party of 9

Anyone know if the restaurant options are the same as last year?? I feel like I'm calling blind! I need Dec 4 & I don't even know who will be reading.

Also is it still 2 ddp credits??

I planned on a long wait so I plugged my cell phone in.

WHAT???? I really think Disney should have been better prepared for this day!!!

I have to think that online ADRs have resulted in fewer CMs (although I don't think they are actually Disney employees) and fewer phone lines. The business case for developing online ADRs had to include cost savings. The problem is there are less people available to cover short term spikes like this.

Dh is speaking to a CM now...looks like we are getting 5:45 Tutto Itallia on 12/10. I would've like Le Cellier, but the time was too early for us since we are spending the day in Animal Kingdom before hand.

I'm reasonably happy though!!!

I got my reservation for Dec 12 @ 4:00pm at Chefs de France.

I got one!!! Tried for Le Cellier for anytime on Christmas, was told there are no more available. Backup plan was successful for Teppan Edo at 5pm with an 8:15 CP.

Got in at 7:17, waited 42 minutes. "The Laughing Place" was the last song I heard.

My DH was on hold for 45 minutes this morning, had gotten our reservation, and was just about to give his credit card # when he got disconnected!!! He now can't get through at all on any Disney number. He also called the Poly concierge (where we'll be staying) and they said they can't help on this. Is there anything we can do or any chance that we'll be able to complete our reservation?

Do not give up I was calling for the last time because I was so frustrated and still had to get ready, finally after 63 minutes i heard the magical wand! Hopefully something is left.

Just got off the phone, on the phone exactly an hour. Coral Reef 1:45 / 5 pm show, on Dec 27th. Exactly what we wanted, woohoo
