The CM I just spoke with said "No tiers" but when she gave me prices of a few restaurants it was the tier prices previously posted on this thread.
While I do hope to get a reservation I am reminding myself that I will feel lucky to even be at WDW after a few years of family health issues making it impossible for DH and I to be together at WDW in December (and who knows whether something will happen again this time). I will NOT let the importance of this booking get out of proportion!!! Good luck to everyone!

I think I have everything I need except I do have a question.

We are getting the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan (DXDP) this year. We decided that eating was going to be a big part of this trip!

For the CP dinner, will we get appetizers for our 2 TS or not?

I know last year we had the regular plan and we did not get appetizers for the 2 TS Candle Light Processional dining Package.

Anyone know for sure?

Ok, family of 5, 2 real adults, 2 young teens, and 1 - 7 year old....

are we better to use 2 DP TS credits for our CP package, or pay OOP?

we're hoping to get Le Cellier or Chefs de France for the 5pm showing....

is there any difference in what we get if we pay OOP or use Credits?

We've never been there for the holidays before!

Just woke up after having a crazy, crazy dream about calling for a Candlelight Processional Package...

Cue swirly dream music....

I woke up, got on the computer and was trying to find an atomic clock to know when it would be exactly 6am. All I got when I Googled were clocks for sale. But I stated dialing early anyhow and got through early! Oh no - cell phone is about to lose it's charge... must plug in! The CM asked me if I had 5 kids. Said no, we traveled last year with a big group but it's actually just DH, DS, and me. So then he tells me he has to update our record to make it accurate. So have to answer a BAZILLION questions. Part way through I ask "Couldn't I just make the reservation and then we could update the record." He said, "We could, but this is easier."

At this point while I'm on a phone, I notice that there's a raven carrying a poodle past our window and drops it in the tree by our porch. I debate - Do I unplug my losing-charge cell phone and go out and get it? Or do I stay plugged in so I don't lose contact? I try to get DS to get the dog, but I end up doing it. It has tags from Ohio. No phone number. We live in Minnesota. I tell the CM about the raven/dog thing. He tells me he's had the same thing happen to him. What are the chances?

All of a sudden there's a stenographer CM at our house... asking me question after question... I still haven't made the reservation. And while I'm pacing the house, answering her, I see that we have all our Christmas decorations still up from the past Christmas and I think "Wow, did winter/spring/summer get away from me that it's August and I never got around to putting decorations away..." Or is it I've been on hold for 3 months and now this person showed up at my house to get info and it's actually December and I still haven't made reservations???????

End Dream.

Woke up with a painful Charlie Horse in my calf. Must have been from all the pacing in the dream.

thewesterberg, I think that the poodle-carrying raven/CP dream wins the "most random dream ever" prize!! Hahaha thank you for sharing- it's so appropriate at 3:30am! However I've had multiple dreams in which I was on the Amazing Race and racing through Disneyland.

I really think everyone in the Pacific Time Zone is getting the short end of the stick on this one. 4am is not a very magical time for making dining reservations to say the least! Still no info online at Disney. But I have my cell phone on speed dial.

Good Morning friends...Westerberg that is hysterical!

quick question re: the post a page or 2 ago about the link about if CP is worth it. There is a link in that link about what to do when you call to make it go more smoothly. It says ask for Reservations. I thought we had to ask for Special Dining event once we called Disney dining. I have called twice to ask questions and that is what I have asked for.

Can someone clarify? I don't want to end up in the wrong place to have to be transferred and lose precious seconds or minutes.

Did you see the movie "The Proposal"? It has a hilarious scene with Sandra Bullock, a little white dog, an eagle and a cell phone in Sitka, Alaska.

I am fortunate sleep-wise. I slept a solid almost 6 hours. Now I have everything ready to start dialing in less than 30 minutes.
