Candlelight processional dinner packages

OK, so the CM I talked to this morning said that the Candlelight Procession dinner packages will be available Aug 5th. But I'm so hestitant to believe it, because I bet if I called back right someone else would tell me something different!! She also said that the "narrator list" would be out in a few week!!

We'll see!! My fingers are crossed!!

Today was my 180 day mark and the CM I spoke with said she had not heard yet. Its nice to see that someone has some info (even if it may not be right!)

I tried to book Le Cellier and it took 3 different dates before I found one opening that my party was happy with. Eek!

I actually got pretty much what I wanted with Le Cellier...just a little later than I had wanted...750pm...but I have a DD3 and DS1...they should be ok though. I got everything else I wanted!!! After being on hold for 45 min!!!

We loved having the CPP and would highly recommend it. In 2003 we got into the CP without ADRs, but this year it was a zoo. You wouldn't have believe the line for the prereserved seating. It's getting much more popular.

Thanks for the info on CP with the DDP. It is very helpful. I have the time that I want at LeCellier, but they had to reserve 2 tables for our party of 5. I'm hoping they will be able to just push them together.

We'll be just across the lake from you at the BWV! I think we might have had a harder time at Le Cellier because we have a party of 6. Oh well. Its all good!

There is really no need to book it now as the ADR you may get now cannot be changed into CP package ADR. The only reason you might want to book now is if you want to eat in that restaurant no matter what and are afraid they'll be nothing available when the packages go on sale.

The Candlelight Processional is held every night from the day after Thanksgiving to December 30. It is held at 5:00p, 6:45p and 8:15p. It runs about 40 minutes.

How much does the CP package effect late times for ADRs? We're going to be trying for Le Cellier at exactly 180 out because we're staying at the Dolphin and can't do 180+10 (probably a doomed effort, I know ), but we're going to be looking for an 8PM-ish ADR. Hopefully that is after the block of times set aside for the CP package?

Well, last year they changed the CP packages a bit. You no longer could eat AFTER the show, only before the show...so you might have better luck getting a later ADR now.

The last CP show is at 8:15p so if all package ADRs are before 8:15p show then their final ADR time is probably 6:30p - 6:35p.

Like a poster said earlier, I'm going to try to book the CP when it becomes available but my family really wanted to try the restaurant so we are just happy to have a ressie there. Honestly, is it necessary to have the package to see the CP?

No it isn't always necessary but it can be if it's a very popular narrator. Also, the seats are better than the non-package seats (unlike the Fantasmic package seats). They are up front.

If you are willing to wait in a very long line for at least an hour, you might get in but you may have to wait in that same line for the next show time. That's how busy it is.

We went 12/23 8:15 last year and it was packed! There were people in the stand by line that didn't get in. They were being told they could stand outside the back of the theater and watch or try again later in their trip. That was even after it started drizzling rain!

FYI- no umbrellas, ponchos only in case of rain.
