Candlelight Processional Dining Packages can be booked starting October 29

Not sure how many there are in your party, but I’m seeing plenty of availability for a party of 4 on Dec 17.
I’ve seen nothing all day. Party of 2. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong.

Bummer :(

17th is Neal Patrick Harris, one of the most in demand. I saw those dates available this morning but they’re gone now. I’d try setting a dining alert. People cancel, especially very close in- but this is going to be a competitive one, if you get an alert an opening came along book it as fast as you would a Space 220 Lounge ADR. Book first, question if you really want it later.

Wow. I've never done this package, but tried at 6am until about 7am... then again at 9am and all options for my trip 12/15-12/18 are gone! Geesh, people sure do love Gary Sinise and NPH.
Oh man that is rotten luck as far as getting a res goes, they are both super popular. Set alerts for all your dates.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how early we should get in line for Whoopi for a decent spot? We have the dining package and don’t need the best seats in the house - but don’t want to be at the very back either. 30 min enough?

I'm like you. You are guaranteed a seat if you do the dining package. I'm not picky about where I sit, and I plan on arriving about 30 minutes before show time.
We fell into the habit of sitting outside whether we had a ticket or not. This will be the first time in quite awhile we’ll be sitting within the theatre. And tbh I don’t recall who the guest host will be for CE, lol.

Glad we won't be alone! Hopefully we're not in the worst seats!

The line often stretches back to France before they start seating folks with dining packages. I get on line early since if I’ve paid for the special pass, I want a good seat. Interestingly even an hour early, I’ve never been first on line! Lol

Oh dear, that’s a long wait for us :(. But think you!!

If I was going to wait an hour, I wouldn't even buy the package personally and spend the money. Might as well line up normally. I kind of see it the same way with the firework packages. I see people waiting in there an hour before the fireworks, when you pay not to have to wait and line up. I walk in 5 mins before and always have a nice spot.

I plan on lining up 10 mins before the show. Different guest for me though. As long as I can see, I'm good lol I don't need to be up front

I feel like the acoustic center for America Gardens theater is farther back anyway. There is a sweet spot around halfway up near the center where the music sounds spectacular. I’d rather sit there than up front for a choral/orchestral performance like CP.

What do you mean within the theatre? Are you referencing the covered area?

An hour is enough to get you in via standby to CP?
I don’t think so, but I interpreted their post that they felt an hour was too long to wait in a line you have paid for when there was a free line available. I have seen people lining up two or more hours prior to the first show in the standby line, with no guarantee they will get in for the first show.

Everyone is different. The last time I bought the dining package I did get in line an hour ahead of time (I was going to the first show) and although I wasn’t first in line, I did get a seat in the front section toward the middle with a good view of the narrator. I felt that was worth it, but understand why others might not.

They went quick, because they were gone a few hours later. I wish I had taken a screenshot.
