We have this reserved for our trip. I was wondering is there a separate line for people who do this or is it all one big line? Would seem confusing having to weed through who had a reserved ticket and who didn't.

Thanks guys!

There are two lines - one for those who purchased the package and the other for general admission. The package holder line gets seated first.

The Candlelight Processional Dinner Package line will be on the "Japan" side of the American Gardens Amphitheatre and the Standby line will be on the "Italy" side.:)

Thanks so much this info helped me as well. Can't wait to see Neil Patrick Harris as the celebrity narrator.!!!

This is good information to know - thanks for posting the question! I had another question to go along with this one though. How far in advance would you say you have to line up if you are doing the package? We wouldn't arrive at the last minute but I have a husband that hates to wait in long lines so the information would be very helpful. Thanks!!

Good question. Maybe someone will have the answer. I would like to know as well.

I personally don't care if I have a front row seat I just would like a seat and to not have to stand in line forever. That is my goal in booking the package.

I would say 15-20 minutes before showtime is the latest you should get in line. Be prepared, though, that the line will be almost to Morocco by the time they start seating. It's a giant line, although it moves very efficiently once it starts moving.

I HATE to stand in lines also!:) That is WHY I use the CPDP.The CPDP line will start forming well over an HOUR before the first show and as soon as the first show begins,it will begin to form again for the next show.I always just arrive about 15 minutes before showtime.By that time, the HUGE CPDP line has ALREADY emptied into the Theatre and I just show the CM my CPDP badge and walk right in.:) Of course I don't get one of the best seats, but the trade-off of not having to stand in line is well worth it.You may hear information that if you do not arrive at the Theatre by a certain time before the show starts, your "seat" will be give to someone in the Standby line. That is NOT true. They MAY seat some Standby line Guests in the CPDP section, but it will only be AFTER the show has started.Just arrive about 15 minutes before showtime and you shouldn't have any problems. When you see the Standby line, you are going to be SO glad you booked the CPDP.:)

Sorry to move in on your thread, but I have a question about CP too.

I am with a party of 11, including 6 children. Do you think the people in line would get mad if 1 or 2 people waited, then the other 9 came to the line for the last 10 minutes or so?

Are you using the CPDP or the Standby line?If using the CPDP just arrive 15 minutes before showtime and walk right in.If using the Standby line, some Guests will not think that practice is appropriate and other Guests will have no problem with it.:)

I always feel that people should wait for what they're going to see but I guess it wouldn't seem too bad to me if you had the package as you paid for it and there are a certain number of tickets sold. But if it was the stand by line, I know I hate when I'm at an amusement park and people do that. With a child that probably had to use the restroom that is acceptable but not a whole group of people coming out of nowhere while everyone else had to wait in line. But that's just my opinion from past experience.

Yes, I think that many would have a problem with it. There is a difference to me if 2 people show up to a party in front of me, but 9 showing up is another story all together. If you are OK with being subjected to comments, rude behavior towards you and the possibility of a CM stopping you(I have seen this) then I would either book the CP package or use it as a lesson to teach the kids patience and waiting in line for their turn.
If my ASD son can wait in line, so can everyone else.
But, in regard to the CP, we booking the package to cut down on the line and wait.

Disney1975, I don't have a problem with it as long as your two are waiting in line behind me. If you are in front of me though, don't try it because it would be very rude of you and your guests as far as I'm concerned.

Another question while we're on the topic. We have the CPDP for the 2nd show with a very early dinner (around 4). I understand there's a tree lighting in WS at 6 p.m. (can't remember the exact spot). Do you think it's at all feasible to see the lighting then get back to the pavilion to get in line in time for the show?

It depends on how long dinner takes and how fast you can move around the showcase.

If you are in the back at Japan, Italy or Germany you will probably be let into dinner about 4:15 - 4:20 pm or so. (they have to do switchover from late lunches). Then after dinner you will need to go around the lake to the "front" of World Showcase where they hold the tree lighting. It can be done but that is a great deal of pressure if dinner runs long or you have slower walkers with you. If you are near the front - Mexico or Canada I would say you are much better off if you really want to do it all.

It is "possible",but you would really have to stay "focused".:) Mickey's Tree Lighting Treat should end at 6:15 giving you 30 minutes to walk from the "front" of World Showcase to the American Gardens Theatre.Considering that the first part of your walk will be slow because of the crowd leaving the show,it will probably take about 20 minutes to make the walk. Also, there is a rumor that MTLT will not be performed this year.HOPEFULLY,that is just a rumor.:)
