You do not need to buy tickets for the show. But, to ensure a good seat, they have Dining Packages. If you make an ADR with the package, you will recieve your passes when you eat. I believe there is another line and special seating for those with passes.

I hear that packages are still available and some of the lesser know Epcot restaurants.

Mickaholic4077, seriously, if you are going to CX please PM me. We've been looking for a package.

I hope that poor girl wasn't sick....and he didn't help her off. He went up a 2nd time...probably checking on someone else. I'm sure it's stressful for many of those kids.

Anyway,

I found my program. Here's what they sang:

Processional
Shot for Joy
O Come All Ye Faithful
O Holy Night
Angels From the Realms of Glory
Away in a Manger
Rejoice With Exceeding Great Joy
What Child Is This
Do You Hear What I Hear
Silent Night
Joy To The World
The Hallelujah Chorus
Recessional

My favorites were "Rejoice with Exceeding Great Joy" and "Do You Hear What I Hear".

The recessional is called "The Wonderful World of Christmas". I love Rejoice with Exceeding Great Joy, it's a fun number to sing and it's hard not to start to dance or move with the music up there. =o)

Allie and I just booked the Dec. 6th show and dinner package with Brian Dennehy... I think he will do a great job... We can't wait.. ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo

Love Brian Dennehy! unfortunately we have the kid from Growing Pains :groom:

Booked, but if I stand in line NOW do you think I'd be able to see Mario next Monday? :lmao: I am going to try and catch the 5 pm show, maybe I will have to be at Epcot by 2 pm to line up for the 5pm show? :confused3

Gaaagaaa!! I am sooo psyched to see Mario! Wooohoo!

Thanks for posting the update!

Where is the best place to sit for the performance? Thanks!

Not the front row by the brass section! half way through the performance they start emptying their spit out of their instruments!

I learned this the hard way :rotfl:

My son spent 4 years in high school band and 2 years in jr. high band so I'm very familiar with the spit emptying technique! :) Although my son is a drummer!

We were there the first night of the Candlelight Processional, but were at the 8:15 performance. I thought it was very good. We saw two choir members get taken off the stage (they looked sick). Also, we noticed that some choir members on the left and right of the stage did not know the words to the songs.

One other note, I thought the Interpreter who was signing for the deaf was awesome. At first I thought she was over-the-top, but then it occurred to me that for the deaf people, she is the instruments, the vocals, the lyrics... everything. I liked watching her.

We saw it Saturday night, WOW. David Robinson was really good!!! We saw the later one so right afterwards Illuminations with the extra fireworks was the perfect ending to our trip!
