I have the Florida Resident Seasonal pass and we are making a trip next month for the food and wine festival. I want to also make a Christmas trip, but we have a bigger trip planned in January, after all of the christmas stuff is done at the World. DH said no way to a December trip, so...... I'm going to be in the area visiting family for Thanksgiving. I was thinking of picking a day that weekend (probably Saturday, Nov. 25) to spend one day at the world. We would likely spend the day at Epcot and book a Candlelight Proc. Dinner package for the earliest show, 5:00, eat a late lunch/early dinner and after the show, head to MGM for the Osbourne lights. Possibly see the lights and then a late showing of Fantasmic? DS and DNephew have never seen it. Am I aiming to get too much done in a day? Any suggestions or advice? I know it will be extremely busy, but it's my only chance to see the christmas lights. Is there anything else not to miss as far as any special Christmas things to see/doo?

It will be tight but I do think that you could do it. Epcot also has the tree lighting ceremony at 6 which we really enjoyed watching.

That sounds great, maybe we can catch the 5:00 Candlelight Proc, get out just in time to see the tree lighting ceremony at 6:00 and head over to MGM for the lights, we should get there around 7 or so and have about an hour to see the lights. Hopefully that will work out.

If you are interested in the CP Dinner Pkg, I'd call Dining ASAP. We called at the 1st opportunity and got the dates we wanted, but then I wanted to make a change (for a weekday dinner) and all the Epcot restaurants were completely booked for the package.

I was thinking that it may be hard to get a package. I was waiting for word from my sister, but I guess I'll go ahead and book it. I can always cancel it if I need to. Thanks for the advice!

I just called and booked a 1:50 lunch package at Garden Grill. The kids will love that. We've never been there before. DNephew has never been to a character meal either.
