Candlelight Processional AND Illuminations?

Hi,

If I book the latest Candlelight Processional package (8:15?) and Illuminations is scheduled for 9:30, how much of Illuminations can I see from the theatre? Or does the stage obscure the lagoon? Has anyone any suggestions about this?

Yeah, the stage pretty much obscures the lagoon...unfortunately it's likely you're gonna have to get up and move when the Processional is over.

Yes, I would think that you would have to move. But I wish I had done the later CP and stayed for illuminations last Dec. What a great way to end the evening!

You'll have to find another sport for Illuminations. You can't see anything at the stage, and there's a lot of trees (if I remember correctly) around that area that will obstruct your view. You might have to run to another spot. But there are plenty nearby countries that have good views of the lagoon. Have fun!!

How long does the Candlelight Processional last? If it starts at 8:15, what time does it end? Just wanted to figure out how much time we would have to find a spot to watch Illuminations.

If I remember correctly Candlelight Processional lasted about 45 minutes. So you should have about 30 minutes to stake out a place for Illuminations. Have a magical trip!

We usually found a spot after CP down near Japan or Morocco.

We do this every year. You would have plenty of time after the CP to find a spot to view Illuminations, although you will probably need to walk a bit away from the stage because peoiple tend to bunch up in that area as they leave the CP.

For CP or anything else going on at AG Theater - the theater is always emptied and roped off before illuminations. So this isn't even an option.

CMs are very insistent about getting people out.

We've found recently that going just beyond Morocco, but shy of France is a great area. Stand well away from the lagoon and you're just elevated enough to see over the people packing the rail. Great spot.
