Ya, it is going to be hard. The worst part is, my 10year old dd barely eats--yet she can't get the kids deal, because it is ages 3-9!!
Maybe just for that day she could pretend to be nine? ;)

Don't I know it. My 12 yo still orders off the kids menu at most places and when she doesn't half of it is left. Because of this we do not do any buffets at Disney, I just can't justify the price.

I so wish we could go. We saw the processional at WDW/Epcot in 2002 and it was wonderful. Maybe some day we will make it to see DL version of it.

Since most of the kids meals are under $8, and the drinks are around $3, to hit the minimum the kids will have to order dessert too.

We are going to be soooo stuffed.
I order off the kids menu a lot of the time myself if I can get away with it!!

Or I will order 2 kids meals and a salad, and we will split it between the kids and I.

Oh well, it is a splurge meal. We decided not to buy Fantasmic seating, or go to Medievial Times, or do the Dine with Shamu, so this is in place of those. (and way cheaper when you compare prices!)
If we do 2 adults at $80, and two kids at $30, that is only $110 (plus tax and tip) for lots of food, plus a beautiful show.... totally worth it!!
:goodvibes

Just noticed an update on the DL Website... they finally added the Candlelight Procession + Ceremony to the Calendar of events for Saturday, 12/03. :goodvibes

We just got back from California (boy are we ever tired today :goodvibes )

The candlelight processional was BEAUTIFUL! We went to the 8:00 PM show on the 3rd. Seeing Dick VanDyke was great. You could see him smiling and singing along with the choir while he was sitting down waiting for the next reading. I hope everyone who got to attend also had a wonderful time.

Thanks to everyone who shared information. We ate at Granville's at DL Hotel. The food was delicious... well worth the $60 price tag per person. When you figure the cost included great seating for the performance, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

Plus, we got to meet up with DIS friends from the Panama Canal Cruise we took earlier this year and watch the snowfall afterwards. This was definitely a MAGICAL evening!

A Merry Christmas to all!
