Who would you like to hear narrating the Candlelight Processional for 2009?

My vote--Tom Selleck or Tim McGraw
My son's vote--Miley Cyrus or Taylor Swift

Honestly...I am not picky ! I just want the list and wish we could book the dining pkg more than 90 days out:rotfl2:

My Vote: James Earl Jones or John Stamos (saw him once and he was awesome):goodvibes or anyone else, but Rita Moreno (saw her once and never again!)

All three sons vote: Taylor Swift
Two daughters vote: Jonas Brothers:rotfl:

I would agree with you on Mr. Timmy McGraw!! :)

I saw Angela Basset & her hubby Courtney Vance last year, she was VERY GOOD. She had so much emotion and energy, definitely my fave so far.

Monique Coleman (from HSM) was rather boring two years ago.

I'm not picky, but I really liked Steven Curtis Chapman and then Jim Caviezel......something about "Jesus" reading it hahah

Neil Patrick Harris was very good on a very cold night last December. His quip about a new land called Antartica being added to Epcot was priceless. :lmao:

I would like the list and to book the package too, right away. Please Disney?

I would like to hear Maya Angelou do it.

Our choices would include Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W. Smith, Louis Gossett, Jr., and Ed Asner.

We too would like to have the details soon. We've been going since 1996 and I can remember only one time that we had to wait until August to book.

:thumbsup2 I remember this too, that was the year we were at the beach and I sat in a car that felt like it was a zillion degrees on hold for an hour. However, that surprised look on their faces at Christmas was SO worth it!!

When exactly can we start booking it?

According to disney, this year is the first year they are instituting the 90 day policy for the Candlelight pkgs as well.So 90 days like all dining adrs. I did call again this evening to see if I got a different answer from the last 6 times i called and again was told 90 days in advance

My favorite speaker that I have seen is James Avery (Fresh Prince of Bel Air). We saw him twice, around 2000, 2001.

Neil Patrick Harris has been my favourite narrator ever since we saw him in December of last year. Prior to him, I can remember having seen Rita Moreno (decent, not my favourite) and a guy that I think was James Earl Jones... not sure, but he had a very deep voice and was great. But Neil was amazingly good, just the right amount of humour to keep me entertained (mind you, he didn't pull jokes while he was reading).

I'd love to see...Keith Olbermann, Anderson Cooper, Lance Armstrong, Josh Turner, or Timothy Omundson because they've all go great voices for talking.

The night we saw Rita Moreno, she was absolutely fabulous! I know another poster said she was terrible when she narrated at the show they saw.

We also liked Neil Patrick Harris and John O'Herlihy.

I have to agree with the Morgan Freeman and James Earl Jones suggestions, they are such great voices. Patrick Stewart would be an amazing choice too. But really, I'd love to hear it presented by someone with some genuine awe and wonder in their voice, as opposed to John O'Hurley's saccharin acting (and others like him). Michael W. Smith and Stephen Curtis Chapman would be nice if they ever aligned with my schedule.

:santa:

I've seen Lou Diamond Phillips in 2005 and he was very good.

I agree, James Earl Jones and Morgan Freedman would be amazing.

I'd like to see, Harrison Ford.

I"m like you all, I'm waiting to get my Candlelight Processional ticket for early December. Probably Dec. 3rd.
