Does anyone know when Disney will start selling the Candlelight Processional Dining Package for this year? I'm trying to plan ahead.

Also,if you've really got your heart set on a particular speaker, be aware that there always seem to be a couple of last minute changes.

The Candlelight Processional Dining Package will be included in the new 90 day booking rule for ADR's.

Do you really need to do the package to be able to see it?
Or can you just go super early and wait?
They kind of made it sound like you had to buy the Package to be able to get in.
TIA

All people with the dining package will be seated first, then stand-by people. Many performances are almost filled with dining package people, but if you are first in line you will probably get a seat (at least 90 minutes wait). You can still enjoy the show while standing in back but to me it is worth the cost of the package to not have to worry about standing or waiting a long time. There is even a long line of folks with the dining package waiting to get in.

Depends on when you go. I've gone mid-week at the beginning of the month and had no problem with standby. Sure, we were in the back but I think it's more of a "listening" experience than "visual". One time I did get the package and sat in the first section, it was actually too close (too loud).

Unfortunately, I've gone mid-week at the beginning of the month (2 years ago) and the package people filled up the theatre. Even with the package you might be sitting way in the back. I was in line for the 6:30 (6:45?) show, yet I and about 100 others, were turned away. We ended up standing in line for the next show.

I too am wondering if you can book this within your 90+10, or will CP have to be booked exactly 90 days from the day you want it??

I don't know if they will do this. They may though. A lot of locals come for the candlelight processional and buy the packages. Booking them with the 90+10 may lock out a lot of locals who want to take advantage of the packages also. We will have to wait and see. Usually they all go on sale the same day regardless of the date you are wanting.

It would be nice if Disney would just announce the procedures so that we could plan accordingly.
