Candlelight Processional 2008 Info Thread

The show is apprx. 1 hour. You do have to wait for the 180day mark. The gentleman "holding" multiple reservations will have them all canceled by disney, quit worrying about it. You think Disney isnt on top of things like that?

I'm hoping to do LeCellier since I couldn't get an ADR when I called for our dates (albeit late). Not yet sure of the date/time since I need to put all my ADR's/parks on a calendar and see what is moveable. We'll be in WDW 12/5 - 12/12 and have 3 kids under 5 so want one of the 2 earlier times.

For the person who asked, this is what I wrote down for pricing when I talked to the CM yesterday. I wish I wrote down more info. to now decipher what it means. But I think the pricing differences are lunch vs. dinner. So, if this helps at all:

Tier 1 - $27.99/$12.99 and $32.99/$14.99
Tier 2 - $36.99/$12.99 and $42.99/$14.99
Tier 3 - $41.99/$12.99 and $47.99/$14.99

The CM also told me we could us TS credits only if we had premium or platinum DDP.

Thanks mbanks! Our 180 day mark is Tuesday so I guess we will miss the initial crush of CP ressies.

Is there a limit on how many nights in a row you can reserve for the CP? I was planning on seeing it twice and eating at a different restaurant each time. As long as you hold it with a credit card would it matter if you had a reservation for each night?

I just got off the phone with the IPO for WL and she gave me the dining times for the CP packages this year:goodvibes
5:00 show= ADR time from 1:45-2:30
6:45= ADR time from 3:30-4:15
8:15= ADR time from 5:00-5:35::yes::

So if I have a lunch already scheduled at 2:10pm on Dec 3rd can I just change it into a CP package on Monday or do I have to get a whole other ADR?

I'm curious on this one myself because we already have our dining ressie for Christmas Day at 5pm at R&C and want the 8:15pm show. I'm thinking they would just make a notation on the reservation...but who knows, that would probably be too easy. :confused3

You have to have a whole new ADR. And be sure to cancel the first one:thumbsup2

That's what I thought. I'll cancel the first one after I get the CP ADR, otherwise I could end up with no ADR. That would not be a good thing. A well fed DBF, makes for a happy DBF.

I hear you! We made a back up ADR too!

I'm gonna do either Le Cellier (if I can get it) for the 8:15 show or Teppan Edo for the 8:15 show (if teppan edo is participating this year).

As long as its on a differant night no it doesnt matter.

We actually just decided not to do the package this time...We have done it in the past and we recommend it for those that want to see the entire show...We have small kids and know they will not sit for the entire hour...And we know that they would enjoy the Christmas tree lighting more because that involves the characters...We are only going to Epcot one day...So we now have a change of plans for our Epcot night...We are eating in Italy at 4:30, then heading over to the tree for the lighting, then we will sit outside in front of America with a snack and listen to the processional for a little while...I really wanted to see it again but the reality of our lives right now is we don't do what we want, we do what works best to keep the kids happy and quiet...Oh well, maybe we can plan for it next year.

Does anyone know if you have to pre-pay for the CP dinner package? Or do they just do a credit card hold? This is our first time doing CP and we're hoping for Garden Grill and the 6:45 p.m. showing on Sunday, December 14. :)

HAs anyone else heard that TS credits can only be used for premium or pplatinum DDP? That would be a bummer.

We are hoping for the 8:15 show and eating at the Coral Reef
The christmas story
disney
fish
and my family
what a better way to spend Christmas eve

They take the credit card as a guarantee, they dont charge it at the time of booking. All CP's are one TS, you dont need to have premium or platinum.
