We have the CP dining package for a 2:45 lunch at Biergarten and the 5:00 show on 12/29. I've read through some threads advising getting in line for CP 40 minutes to an hour ahead for the more popular narrators. But all the threads I saw were in reference to dates earlier in the season. With the outrageous crowds the week after Christmas, will an hour in advance be sufficient? I don't think we'll get out of Biergarten in much under an hour, so I don't think we'd be able to get in line before before 3:45 or 4. Has anybody gone during this busy time that can advise?

You don't have to get in line that early to get a seat. The advice is to get in that early, so you can choose a good seat. They won't open the line for stand-by until 30 min before, so as long as you're there before that, your guaranteed seats are good.
