I called today to book Candlelight Procession for china on dec 4th and the girl told me it was booked. So i asked if she could tell me which ones had availability and she said none of them had any openings. I had her check the 3rd - 6th and she told me every restaurant for every show had NO openings!!! Can this be true!?!?! Or maybe she just wasn't checking alllllll of the restaurant just the ones in the china tier. This is just crazy! Could everyone going the first week in dec since pop warner is the following week? Is this a sign of what to expect in terms of how crowded it will be down there? We went last dec for 2 weeks and just walked on everything...how could this be? Im very dissapointed. Anyone else have trouble getting a res for the first week of dec?

I heard the same thing from someone in my December vacation club on another board about 3 weeks ago. Not sure if he found a reservation for it yet or not, but I'm not surprised that's what you heard.

Keep trying? Good luck!

We booked our package in June or so for December 4 and got the last reservation for that day/restaurant.

I don't think they reseved as many tables as before. I knwo I called the morning they opened the resevations and I still didn't have much choice in dining times. Sorry you haven't had any luck try calling back as there was a credit card guarentee so people will cancel not just not show up :confused3

I wonder if they severely cut back the number of available dining packages after what happened last year (also early December); it used to be that if you reserved the package, you were guaranteed seating in the covered area. Unfortunately, at one of the shows I tried to go for, without the package, almost the entire theater was taken up by peaople on CP package. People who did the package were just guaranteed a seat in the theater, not in the front, covered area. There were a lot of unhappy people, including almost everyone in the stand-by line. They only took a handful of people in the stand-by line, so at least 50-60 people in the stand-by line waited until the next show. It's gotten much more popular recently than in years past.
