I know Monique just finished up her narrations last night, so this may be too early to ask. However, my daughters are big fans and are just dying to know how she did with Candlelight. Did anyone get to hear her and how was her performance?

Thanks!

We Saw her first performance on the 5th. My Daughter and her friend waited in line for two hours and were at the front of the rope, so we had really good seats and took a few good pictures. Overall, I thought she did really well and she seemed to always have a smile on her face.

We saw her the other night and I thought she did a great job.

Ms. Coleman is a poised and lovely young lady who did a marvelous job narrating the CP. She truly seemed to be enjoying herself and her narration was well done with great inflection, timing and emotion. I've seen other young performers narrating (Haley Joel Osment, Jaqui Velasquez) and she was head and shoulders better than them. She had the stage presence of a seasoned thespian and I hope that Disney asks her to return next year.

I have looked on a number of websites and I can't seem to find out the length of the performance. We are going to a 5 pm show and thought I might want to head to DD for the rest of the evening. On that note...what is the best way to get to DD from Epcot?

Thank you so much. The girls sure do wish they had been there for Monique. Instead, they get Rita Moreno. While Ms. Moreno is awesome, I think my teens would prefer Monique. :rotfl:

I saw Monique on Thursday. I thought she was a lovely young lady and did a very good job with her presentation.

Also there on Thursday and she did a wonderful job. It was my first CP, beautiful show. Although I think my 6 yr old daughter was disappointed...she knew she was seeing Taylor from HSM and I think she thought there would be some dancing (ala HSM) involved!

The length of the show is around 40 minutes, give or take a few minutes. As for getting to DTD from Epcot, are you staying on property? If so, Disney bus transportation will get you there. If you have your own vehicle, follow the signs when leaving Epcot parking, it's less than a 15 minute drive. Parking at DTD is another matter, lol.

There are no direct busses from parks to DTD. I would suggest walking over to the Beach Club and catch the DTD bus there.

I saw her on Thursday night also (8:15), I thought she did a good job. She seemed to be careful to speak each word correctly.

I thought she did a good job not the best I have seen but she spoke well.
