If Candlelight same day tickets are available at the Regal Eagle, do you have to get the food right then? Could you pay for them and then get the food later?

If you purchase the same-day package, you will get your food right then.

You're not paying for a ticket, you buy the meal package and get a seat. In my experience, people line up very early for the Regal Eagle same day package and they can be hard to get before they sell out.

From the disney food blog. - At Regal Eagle Smokehouse, the package includes a guaranteed seat at the show, an entree, non-alcoholic beverage, and dessert are $41 for Adults, and $24 for Children ages 3 to 9.
