Candlebration/15th anniversary music

Anyone else realised it's the music from the Peter Pan movie??!!

I just sat down with hubby the cats and Peter Pan DVD for cozy saturday afternoon family viewing time and as soon as the music started and i realised
why I had heard the music before all I could think was....

I WANT TO GO TO DISNEYLAND!!!!!
so much for sitting quietly watching a movie...

lovely music but I'm sure Disney had nothing to do with the movie so wonder how they got the music?

Will explain why there's no cd of it...

The original is called "Flying" written by James Newton Howard and is also featured in the "Year of a Million Dreams" campaign. I managed to find it after our last trip, I wanted to add the music to a video I'd made, it's not exactly the same as Candleabration, but close enough.

i actually managed to buy a 2 disk cd of all the music played at DLP after much hunting and some great help from some cm and it is a limited edition one for thier 15th anniversary. Its fab i cannot stop listening to it lol ...

Where did you find it Tinks ? I looked but couldn't find a CD, but that was right at the start of the celebrations, I have managed to download Flying and the OUAD music but would love to get hold of the originals.

It must have been because you were there at the start of the 15th Celebrations, Jill. We saw it on sale in the Storybook Store, Emporium, Harringtons, shops in the Village......it's usually by the tills rather than with the other park CDs but you won't have any problem buying it when you go. I think my copy is already getting worn out!
