Candleabration and High School Musical on Tour

Hi,

On the DLRP Magic site, its still showing High School Musical on Tour as showing up to the end of September. Is this correct? I thought it ended at the end of August?

Also, Candleabration seems to occur just as the main park is closing each day. So if the park closes at 7pm, and I want to book Cafe Mickey for dinner afterwards, should I book for 7.30pm? I'm going at the beginning of October, midweek. That should give us time to see Candleabration and then head out of the park to Cafe Mickey shouldn't it?

HSM is indeed running thru end of september - but NOT on mondays and tuesdays.
as for the candleabration, the show lasts about 15mins - 20mins i think - dont forget to account for crowds on exiting the park and also if the performance doesnt start on time (like the parades always start about 5mins late). at times depending on crowds it can take a good 20mins or so to get from MS USA to disney village. of course, u r going in october, but just be careful

Thanks for that, so booking Cafe Mickey for 7.45 or 8 would be better I guess.
Do you think High School Musical on Tour will still be in the studios after the end of September? DD would love to see it.

yes i would say between 7.45 and 8pm is more reasonable - just to be on the safe side - if ur earlier then it doesn't matter does it.

no-body can say unfortunatly whether HSM will run after september. what i do know is that the cast that r performing HSM for the extra month r NOT the cast that run thru the summer season. their contracts were only unitl 26 august and disney had to rehire when they extended it. the HSM costumes r very light to say the least. dancers in leotards and shorts and t-shirts i cant see being about in october to be honest. running til the end of septmeber is a push as the weather starts degrading.
one will just have to wait and see on this score im afraid!

Is there an equivalent of guest relations in the Studios, where I could check daily shows etc on the day? If so, whereabouts is it?

Candleabration was at 6pm when we were there last week, if thats any help? And the parks closed at 9pm.

in october mid week the disneyland park will normally close at 7pm and the studios at 6pm. candleabration will normally be at 7pm on those days.
there are guest relations windows at the entrance to disneyland, inside the main plaza at walt disney studios as well as city hall in disneyland park. all the onsite hotels reception desks also act as a kind of guest relations.
show times, operational updates and opening hours are all available on the website about 4 weeks in advance normally. on arrival guide maps and times guides can picked up at the turnstiles on park entry and at many other locations throughout the resort.

I just checked on the DLRP Magic site - latest updates show HSM on tour is extended until 14th October, so we'll see it!!!

I'm going to keep this little nugget a complete surprise for DD .

Someone on this forum posted about the best place to stand to see HSM - but I can't find it now? Apparently, HSM takes place in the Place des Stars, so am I right in thinking thats the bit near Cinemagique? Or am I completely in the wrong place?
