Candle warmers...

It takes awhile for the whole candle to melt to start the smell going.

Mine ended up cracking, I assume from the high temps.

I don't have one, but a couple of people on the Yankee candle exchange thread have them and really like them. The scent has lasted a long time....but they miss the flame now that colder weather is coming.

They work ok. I use one in my work office.

I like the tarts better, they have a much more fragrant smell.

I was looking at one of them in Bed, Bath & Beyond today. I almost bought one but realized I like seeing the flame and the light it creates. It really changes the ambiance of a room.

I had one and really hated it. It took very long for the candle to melt to get a scent. After a few burning, the scent was all gone and you still had most of your candle. And yes I was burning YC. I bought a frying pan that burns tarts on it and I am so much happier now.

I use a candle warmer in my living room. The first time you put a candle one it it takes about 6 hours to fully melt. But after that it takes about 3.

I use it for safety reasons, having three boys I was afraid of the flame. I have the say I have even left it on overnight one night. I was burning Ciniman Sticks and I thought DH was making french toast, what a disappointment. :rotfl:

It really puts the fragrance in the room.

I can't say that I miss the flame, but if I do I burn candles in our fireplace for the ambiance.
