Candle Time

When this time of the year rolls around I usually have candles burning.....right now I have Y.C. Mistletoe burning, what scent are you burning?

With two young kids, I prefer to use an electric tart burner. I'm planning on putting on a "Christmas Wreath" this afternoon.

I horded YC Peppermint Cocoa last year after I found out it was being discontinued, so I've got that burning. It's my favorite and I can't believe they got rid of it! Our YC actually kept a good stock for a while, so I would get a bunch whenever I was by there. The YC people thought I was a psycho though because they'd say things like" You must really like the Peppermint Cocoa" and " Didn't you just buy a bunch of these last week?" Yeah, so I'm a Peppermint Cocoa freak- if you wouldn't have discontinued it I wouldn't be stalking you for it !

I have to get to YC to stock up on my holiday candles. Right now I'm finishing up 'Autumn leaves' and I really liked it!

Last month at the YC Village they had a discontinued wall with so many Peppermint Cocoa...........that is where I stocked up on Mistletoe.

At this very moment I have pine burning in the living room and a christmas scent I don't remember the name I got it at a health food store.It is palm wax and smells incredible. I think it is called mistletoe. I also just finished up my pumpkin candle. I love yummy smelling candles(only if they are lead free )

Right now we are burning YC frosted pumpkin and pumpkin pie.

I have sparkling cinnamon, christmas cookie, and my all time favorite home sweet home ready to burn once these are gone.

I wish I owned some YC candle stock, love that place!!

I use mostly oil and tarts now (stronger and cheaper!) - I have Pumpkin going in both. The whole house smells like Fall.

BTW YC doesn't have lead in their candles, NO American companies do, it's against the law. Check your candles from China though...

I was burning (well, using my electric warmer) Autumn Wreath. No Christmas ones yet for me!! (it's still 80 here, so it's not very fallish feeling!)

I have a lifetime supply of YC - or so I found when cleaning out my rooms for new flooring. Right now I can't burn anything or I would burn the house down - papers and stuff stacked everywhere.

I'll be so glad when this remodeling is done. The contractor wanted to come back tomorrow (Sunday) to do the last two rooms. I told him I couldn't move all of the stuff out of those two rooms (which have all the stuff from the other rooms) if I stayed up all night.

I have this pitiful little twin bed set up in a corner to sleep in (with 2 big dogs).

But I'll bet I can use up those YC in a hurry once I can get to them again.
