It is a show with a massed choir and orchestra that sings christmas carols and a celebrity narrator tells the christmas story in between each carol. It is done in the evening by candle light.

You don't have to do the dinner package although it is recommended as they don't let the stand by line in until the package line is seated. You might not get in if you don't have the package. There are various price levels for the packages and it is recommended that you book ADR's at that time of year anyway.

I live 5 mins from Rushton, but am origionally from Leeds!!

I am going to to this next year- for the first time. unfortunately can't go this year. Anyway,do the weekends get more crowde as it gets closer to Christmas? Or are they all pretty much the same?

Finally, when are dates and speakers announced for teh upcoming CP?

We have DVC, so will need to do some advance planning.

Danauk - I live 9 miles from Leeds in Liversedge, my friends in Rushton also lived up here when her husband played in the Black **** Mills Band and then they moved down to Kettering when he went to play for the Corby Steel Works Band(I think it was corby it is a long time ago)
