I booked a table today for Le cellier the week before Christmas (5 of us on DDP) and I'm fairly certain the CP package is 1 TS.

I have to call back and change to CP package, has anyone any idea if the package meal has a good choice. We are not too bothered about the CP ticket, we will see that at some point in our stay anyway, but if the package meal is better than 3 courses on DDP we will go with the package.

So shall I book the package instead of the regular DP TS table at Le Cellier?

My mom dined at Le Cellier with the CP package. If I'm correct, she got the app., main course, and dessert. Then early seating for the CP. (She goes every year.) and I think it was around $40, give or take. But I suggested the DDP for her next trip because this way you get the snack, CS, and TS for $37.99 and you can just walk over to see the CP. anytime. The DDP sounds like the better deal to me. Does this help?

I don't understand what you are saying. When I booked the CP, I understood the CM as saying that I could book the CP and use my DDP and it would only take one of my TS credits. From reading the posts here, I get the understanding taht DDP credits can not be applied toward CP. I will have to call Disney Dinning back tomorrow to check on this.

Please let us know after you call tomorrow.
We just booked the CP Package, for Alfredo's on Dec. 8th and when I asked if I could use the Dining Plan the CM said it would be counted as 2 TS per person.
I'm thinking of cancelling... but if other restaurant options are only 1 TS I will just change!

I do intend to call, but I am satisfied, after reading through other threads on this subject that DDP can be used to purchase the CP Packages and that all restaurants are 1TS.

I think I understand you question to be- Should I stick with the Le Cellier ressie (using DDP) and not see CP that night vs. Booking a CP package using the DDP?
When I booked my CP ressie the CM specifically told me that the DDP could be used and it would be 1 TS credit (it was part of the disclaimer speech that she went through at the end of the call).
It is my opinion that you would be better off booking a CP package (same food offerings, same menu and same # of courses) with the added bonus of reserved tickets for CP. The CP package is $45.99 + tax/tip and doesn't include a drink. If you book the CP package using the DDP you get all of those things included (plus a CS meal and snack for the day) for about $40 with tax. I would rather pay $5 less and get a drink, tip&tax included and not have to wait in line for a seat! :confused3

I did phrase my question badly. I have rung again today, and could understand the CM this time. What I was wanting to know was if the CP package was a set meal/limited choices and different from the regular menu. Now I know the package is the same choices from the same menu as we can have with DDP anyway. I was told 1 TS credit, and the CP ticket is a bonus.

So I booked the package for 22nd Dec, and hopefully can try the Le Cellier mussels, and filet mignon and ........ :)

It looks like everyone beat me, but I also called today, and they confirmed 1TS credit.
