Cancun all inclusive

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a Cancun all inclusive that won't break the bank and it good for families? Thanks

When are you planning on going? (If it's during Spring Break, I'd avoid Cancun at all costs (with kids). Playa del Carmen would be a much better option during that time.)

I'd definitely recommend the IB* resorts. The Maya and Lindo aren't the least expensive, but you'll have access to the Beach and Del Mar resort as well, which are next door. The Beach and Del Mar cost less, but you'll only have access to that resort only.

I'd also look into the Tucan/Quetzel resort. In Cancun proper, I'd check out Dreams. It won't be the least expensive, but there's plenty to do. Also check out the Now resorts (owned by the same company that owns Dreams).

My very favorites are the Royal Resorts. They are pristine clean, super family-friendly and the service is absolutely wonderful. But they aren't all-inclusive (which is how we prefer it anyhow . . . )

We are planning to stay at the Moon Palace next year with our family. It is an all inclusive and was listed as family friendly. It looks very nice and has a ton of retaurants which was an important part of our decision.

Here's another vote for the Iberostar resorts. We've stayed in several in both Mexico and Punta Cana and never been disappointed.

Also enjoyed Iberostar..Quextal in Playa del carmen about 45 minutes from cancun.

We liked Iberostar Tucan, it is the same resort at Quetzal. Also, we just stayed at Sandos Playacar and we LOVED it! We were there last year spring break. Extremely family friendly and close to Playa Del Carmen. You really don't want to go to Cancun with your family, it is really a party town.

We stayed at the Hotel Marina El Cid in Puerto Morelos. It's only about 20 minutes outside of Cancun towards Playa Del Carmen. It was beautiful and quiet. We are much for partying or going out so it worked perfectly for us.

We took our 4 and 6 yr old last June to Gran Caribe Real. It was a good time. The location was good and the beach was beautiful.

We love the grand caribe real in Cancun and the family suites are perfect for our family of 5. Also like the palace resorts as they have suites for families of 5............
