Cancelling room only reservation but I already got the magic bands??

So we have a 9 day reservation at Pop Century which I have not ordered/received the magic bands yet. We added one night at the beginning of our trip at Sports. I ordered upgraded magic bands without noticing I ordered them under the Sports room only reservation. I meant to order them under the Pop reservation. We received those bands a couple of days ago. ANYWAY, now I would like to cancel the Sports reservation and change it to Art of Animation instead for that one night. Will that mess things up with the magic bands?? The reservation is for August 28.

It won't be a problem if you modify the reservation instead of canceling and rebooking.

Definitely modify but in reality your magic bands are just the “key” to your account not a specific room/trip so you’ll be able to use them and your “pop” MBs interchangeably (if that was a concern)

Are they upgraded bands? I believe if you cancel you will have to pay the difference, so you would be better off modifying if you can.

They are the upgraded bands. I was able to modify, so it's all good. Why didn't I think of that before??
