cancelling reservations from online?

OK...I haven't really dug through the WDW site yet (because we all know that it isn't always helpful)....

but...my question is, if I make reservations for my resort online, and need to change or cancel, is it a pain to do so? Or is it easy with the online system? Or could I just make adjustments on the phone?

My visits to WDW are usually short and planned not too far in advance and I sometimes have to make reservations ahead of time and then bail if my bf can't get away.

Once you make the reservation online, you have to call to make any changes or cancel. It's not a big deal to do, but it would be nice if you could make changes online.

Can you make a room request online though? or is that better left with our friends at CRO?
(in particular, type of room at ASMusic. Website says there are king beds in some rooms?

The only time you can make room requests online is when you initially make the reservation. On one of the final pages there is a space (a pretty small space), where you can enter special requests. But they do read them, because we have had our requests met when doing online reservations.
