Cancelling res made with AAA TA

I booked with AAA, and later, I had her call using the visa code and change my rate. I saved but had to take and ASMu room. I wanted POP or ASMo. Now I am wondering if I should cancel the reservation I made with her and just try to do this myself. Then I can keep calling to see if anything opens up using either the visa code or the GP code. Is this a good idea? Does AAA charge fees for canceling or should I just have her keep calling. I feel bad about doing that.

My TA was not able to get us a discounted price on our stay at POP for Thankgiving week. But, she was able to get us a pkg at CSR for less than our POP stay. I have heard others say they weren't able to get the pkg discount at POP as well.

I booked with AAA and just cancelled (long story). I was not charged a fee to do so.

I was able to get a package for 11/24-12/03 at POP, but I had to do a room only on 11/23 (and I had to take a preffered room).

They only other value they had available for the time I wanted was ASSp.

I would call and speak to Disney direct. You can get a quote and decide how you want to proceed.
