Cancelling our Cabana

I posted yesterday in my meet thread, but haven't heard from anyone so thought I'd post here in case someone is on my cruise and hadn't joined that. I'm sailing on January 5 Fantasy and have a Serenity Bay Cabana we decided to cancel. I feel like I spend more time in the water and it won't be worth the cost to us. I'm not sure how the cancelling works if it goes to a waitlist or back into inventory. But if it does go back into inventory I thought I'd give someone who wants it on here a chance to grab it.

LOL I know they are viewed like gold. But it's expensive and we really do spend most of our time in the ocean so I feel like someone else would get much better use out of it than we would.

Thanks for the heads up on the Cabana. I don’t think it’d be worth it for DH and I, but it is really kind of you to see if anyone was interested in it!

I coordinated the release of the cabana I had reserved with someone who's part of a group on another online platform, and luckily I wasn't attacked for it. I was glad to be able to make it work too...the family that got it had a death in their immediate family since booking their cruise, and hopefully the cabana will make their vacation a little better to help them through that.

I was able to snag a cabana a few years ago and decided not to take it a few weeks before the cruise. I coordinated releasing it back into inventory with someone in our cruise meet group, and they were so happy! One in the family had recently injured herself and was in a boot so they were hoping it would make their Castaway Cay day easier. They happened to be at WDW waiting in line when I arranged to cancel, and they sent me a quick thank you cheer on video from the park entrance - I felt so lucky to have been able to make someone else’s day

Aw that’s a shame. That’s the NYE cruise right? We almost booked that one but it was almost double the cost so we decided to go to Disney world for New Years and cruise the following week. I hope someone drops theirs on your cruise and you’re able to pick it up

Yes, that is the NYE! We are very excited, we spent NYE on the Magic 2 years ago and it was so much fun. We have 2 kids in college so it works well with their school schedule. I hope you have a great cruise.
