cancelling one day of onsite reservation

I need to cut a day of our room only reservation. It was made through a conference group via Disney. Right now we are 18 days out but my landlord just died and we have been given a 30 day notice to vacate. This means we need to cut one day off of our room reservation. Will we be penalized? Can this even be done at this late date?

If there were length of stay requirements on the conference rate they may not allow it.

Who did you book through? You would need to call and ask. If it's a room block through groups, you may actually have more luck modifying dates than if it were booked through WDTC. Call whomever is handling the booking and ask.
