I just called to cancel the Google Money ToolKit, she pulled up my account and said that I also had an account open for the Grant Search Provider, which I did but had cancelled like a week ago and was able to give them the cancellation code. I can see how people are having issues with them charging your cards because they cannot take care of it. It is VERY frustrating!!

I had also done the OfficialAuction one and I couldn't get it to cancel online, it gave me an error but said they would cancel the account, well of course they tried to charge me for it. But finally I got through to someone who said that they would cancel it and do a "courtesy" refund of the $39.95. GRRR

Watch your statements for this company! I cancelled, got a confirmation # & then was charged. I still haven't gotten the credit for the charge even though I had a confirmation number for it! I had to cancel the credit card I used for that one, so now I may just eat the $9.53 they charged me for the Google kit thingy as I don't really want them to have my new credit account number!

But just a warning...watch your statements!!

I believe all of those offers are with the reg net company. They usually aren't that hard to cancel but that company is so difficult to deal with the are charging everyone here it seems after they have canceled. I have had problems with them before. All the credit card offers are not that bad most of them are a piece of cake to cancel!

I signed up with Bankcard U through CashDuck. I noticed that they are also using the Reg.net Co. for payment. I will have to watch that one closely. So far, I have not had any trouble with cancelling offers. I am pretty sure I will get a bad egg one of these times.

Well I have been using my PayPal Virtual Credit Card for the majority of them...so they should only be able to use that card once...and not be able to keep charging me...but with that said, I logged on yesterday and noticed a pending charge from OfficialAuctions.com on my account AFTER I cancelled it and used the Virtual Card that I was under the impression that was a one time use only credit card number.

I e-mailed PayPal to find out...because if that isn't the case then I need to start investigating other options.

But it is hard to complain too much...I am up to $288  I just keep thinking of everything that I can buy with my earnings.

Just curious...what is a PayPal Virtual Credit Card. I have paypal and may be interested if it only lets them charge you once!!

Not sure about the paypal card but I know when I was researching the virtual number option on discover card theres is set up for a specific site. So if I used it on one offer that offer would still be able to use that number indefinetly as far as charging me goes. They didn't have a one time shot deal like I have heard that some cards have.

I'm not familiar with Discover's Virtual numbers but check and see if there is an advanced options click when you ask for a VAN. If there is click it and see if you can set a $ amount or a time restriction. On the Citibank ones they are only good for 1 month but you can set a specific amount or make it go for up to 24 months. I view this as extra protection.

It usually isn't that difficult to cancel except Dr.reg.net. They are HORRIBLE. I am battling month 3 of charges. I finally got the credits for 1st month and now I am getting charged again. These people are horrible. I can't even tell u have many phone calls I have made. Avoid any offers that have to do with them (of course that is my opinion!!!)

GREAT, I just did another one with them today...that BCU Starter Kit...the person on the live chat im thing was RUDE she was trying to get me to agree to sign up for the At Home Rewards thing...obviously that is their way of making more money. She wouldn't take NO for an answer. I am having issues with my PP Virtual Card so I am debating how far I am going to be able to go because I don't have time to be fighting these places to cancel.

Yeah well now even after I called...they STILL charged me the $49.95 for the Grant Search Provider after I cancelled...these places are UNBELIEVEABLE...I am SO done with using my CC on anything, it is my SimonGiftAccount or NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only have $.79 left on my Simon giftcard after doing rewards this morning so I would love to see some of these companies try and get more $$$ out of me :rotfl:

BTW, from the $50 I had on my Simon giftcard I have had $90 already post to my CD account and another $117 is pending :cheer2:

LOL...I just worry if they will start to harass you if they attempt to put through a charge after you have cancelled the account and it gets denied. I am sure I will find out.

Gotta like that! What did you all sign up for? I have kinda hit the wall of things that I can sign up for.

Couple of those I did on SR...wish I could do them again in CD.

I am still waiting on the LipoBurn (just did that today) and then the ePower. That one I am not expecting...not sure why...haven't heard anything from the company. I will submit a TT with Kira in a couple of days.
