cancelling flights on SWA?

If we were to cancel 4 tickets for travel nov 30th to JAX....

Can that amount paid be applied to tickets to go to MCO in February?

Are only the 4 people who are listed on the tickets allowed to fly on the new flights- or can they be cancelled- and then rebooked for someone else?

You have a year to use them I believe charged a rebooking fee and only the people orginally bought for.

Actually, Southwest does not charge any rebooking fee.

You will have a year from the day that you originally BOOKED the first set of tickets to complete any travel using those funds.

Whoever the credit card holder (the person who paid for the tickets) was can use the funds to buy tickets for anyone they wish.

Basically, you have a confirmation code for those tickets you've already bought. When you cancel the flight - you will get a travel credit (same confirmation code) for the amount of those tickets.

When you are ready to buy, just click on the USA purchase, and you will see an area to apply Ticketless Travel Funds. You will enter the confirmation number, and the credit card holder's name. You can apply up to four credits per reservation!

It's an awesome system - that's one of the reasons I only fly Southwest whenever possible!

I just did this recently. My husband and I had tickets on SWA to fly to Phoenix this week. We decided against the Phoenix trip so we could take a Disney Cruise in February. I canceled the Phoenix trip (online) and received the amount in ticketless travel funds. I immediately rebooked us and my son and his girlfriend to Orlando in February using the ticketless travel funds. I was only charged the difference.

SW has a great system for this. There is no fee to change.

That's another reason why I love SWA and fly them every chance I get! Depending on the type of tickets purchased you'll either get the credit explained already, or if you purchased the full fare tickets (refundable) then you would get the actual dollar amount credited back to the credit card.
