Cancelling during Thanksgiving Week?

We are looking for a site from Nov. 20-25 (Thanksgiving Week) I will take whaever type of site I can get! It is also our anniversary.

If you plan on cancelling can you PLEASE private message me (nikfour) when you plan on cancelling. I am home usually in the evenings since I work all day.

I have been calling every day and have not had any luck! Normally we reserve well in advance but had a opportunity to camp that week which we did not know about until recently.

IMO trying to coordinate cancellations and reservations is a hopeless cause since it all depends when the actual cancellation is enter into the system and the hundreds if not more besides you are trying to get a reservation.

Best it to just call each day or even in the AM and later PM to check availability since you are not limiting yourself to this very small group of FW campers in this forum.

Keep trying! I know it's a hassle to go through all of that automated stuff, but don't give up! I reserved our sites three months ago for the next week (Nov 26th - Dec 4) but couldn't get the 25th. For the past 4 or 5 weeks I've been calling daily to get the 25th, and I got it last night!

I got my reservation for early thanksgiving weekdays from Disney's official website. I first called Disney phone line and the lady said no openings for those two days while I was staring at the screen showing openings. After that call, I went straight to the reserve site and booked the two days.

I did manage to get 3 nights.... I will keep trying for the other two! Love the online reservations! I booked for next year too just in case we are able to go at this time again!
