Cancelling ADRs on the dining plan

How much notice do you need to give when cancelling your dining plan ADR before you lose the credit?

If you reserved an ADR with a credit card - you need to cancel at least 48 hours prior. If you haven't reserved with a cc, you should cancel as soon as you know you won't be needing those ADR's that way it give someone a chance that really wants them to get them!

The PP is right, I just wanted to add more reassurance that you won't lose your credit. You will, however, have that credit left and can use it at a different TS location.

Thank you for the reassurance. I have been trying to get Chef Mickey's for our upcoming trip in 2 weeks, but I haven't had any luck. I do have a backup plan of 1900 Park Fare, but would really like Chef Mickey's instead. Just was curious how much notice I would need to give just in case we are able to snag a Chef Mickey's and need to cancel 1900 Park Fare.
