cancelling a shore excursion

pls could someone help with this

if we booked a shore excursion at nassau and then on the actual arrival day or the night before we decided to cancel would we still be charged?

alternatively is it possible to book shore excursions on the day of arrival into nassau

If you booked the excursion through DCL, I think you have to cancel 3 days prior to your sail date (not the date you arrive in Nassau). If you cancel, or just don't show up, after boarding the ship, you will be charged. I've never tried to book a DCL excursion on the day of arrival into a port. Most of the popular ones are sold out long before that.
