If you cancel a package (room, passes) online, is your credit card automatically credited or does this require a phone call?

No need for a phone call, it's automatic. Not instantaneous, but automatic.

Word of advice, if you made any ADRs that you needed to provide a credit card for make sure you cancel those separately. Or you will be charged for a no show.
