Hi all,
I recently booked my first ever cruise for September 2021 but I'm now in a position to bring it forward to September this year. I know that the DCL phone lines are going to be absolutely rammed at the moment with all the cancellations due to Covid-19, so I wondered if my understanding of the cancellation policy is correct.
I read it that I can cancel the cruise with no penalty because I'm more than 90 days before sailing. Is this correct? If so, I assume I would get a full refund of the deposit paid and not a credit? Would this include the Hyatt hotel and ground transfers too?
If this is the case then I can book the 2020 cruise online and cancel the 2021 cruise when things are a little calmer.
On that note, if I book online can I then ring at a later date and add on the hotel for the night before the cruise and the ground transfers?
Many thanks in advance for your help. I'm totally out of my depth when it comes to booking cruises, give my Disneyland Paris any day!
