I just noticed your thread and just wanted to say that I traded for the custom house a few years ago and had a wonderful time. We lucked out and got one of the rooms on the top floor overlooking the bay!!

hope somebody can take advantage of your misfortune.

Doug, thanks. We bought a Marriott timeshare with the idea that we like to trade into Custom House periodically since we go to Boston at least once a year.

I was very happy to get this exchange and never thought this would be the one that we had to cancel.

However, we just bought a house and it is closing on 6/30. The seller insists on closing that day and we have to move right afterwards because my kid's summer camp schedule.

Maybe next time. Things like this makes me appreciatge DVC's flexibility.
