Cancelled Room - Will magic bands still work?

I had a room only reservation and already got my magic bands for that trip. We decided to stay at WBC and I was wondering if the magic bands would still work? We have annual passes associated with our MDE account. They are orange for Halloween and I would like to use them, but we have lots of others or I could just buy some orange ones while we are there. It would be nice to know before I tried to use them at the turnstiles.

Yes, they will work for the people to who they have been assigned. They are just clones of every other MB in your MDE profile.

I think so, but I'm not sure.

I got 2 sets of MBs for a split stay and then was able to merge the stays into one reservation later. Both MBs worked. I would imagine yours will but I'm not sure as I was still saying on site

Yes, your orange MB's from your cancelled trip will work for your upcoming trip. Thre is no need to buy another pair.

Any MagicBand in your MDE account will work for your tickets and/or annual passes in the same MDE account. You don't need to have a Disney resort reservation in order to use your MagicBands. All of them will work equally.

The Magic Bands are connected to your MDE account, not to your room. So they will work no matter if you have a Disney hotel stay or not.

Ditto on all the above. Just to convince yourself, log on to MDE and go into the MagicBands and tickets section and you should see all your MagicBands, including your new orange ones, listed as "Active".
