Cancelled pirates & pals.. refund time?

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this... but I cancelled our pirates & pals and the $ is being refunded.
Anyone done this before? How long did your refund take?
We paid with a disney giftcard, if that makes a difference.

The CM I spoke with when I cancelled said she thought it would be pretty quick since it was a giftcard, but it's been a few days, so I thought I'd ask the wonderful people of disboards. We are at Disney next week and were hoping to use those funds..

Sorry, I don't have that specific experience. When I needed memory maker refunded, it was back on my credit card that day.
Just a reminder to hold on to your actual gift cards when you use them at Disney! It's my understanding that any refund goes back on the same card, so you should hold onto any physical card until you're sure the money is spent and gone, no refunds or leftover balances on them.

We cancelled a reservation recently (booked a whole new fall package when free dining was announced) and it took about a week for our deposit refund to go through.
