Flying. I considered driving but it was something like 22hrs straight, we would have enjoyed doing it over a few days but the rental companies wanted $500+ one way rental fee, 3 flights only cost about $250 (although that increased when I had to change the date, thankfully Jet Blue only chanrged me $50pp to change dates)
only 22 hours? i would think it's much more than that.....
way back when i was in university - the end of my first year at Johns Hopkins to be exact - my best friend and i drove down to disneyworld from Baltimore.
I'm thinking baltimore's not even half way to new hampshire...
it took us two days (to make it to pensacola)...
obviously not two days non-stop...
we stopped along the way to eat and stopped at an air force base to drop off our other friend from uni who wanted to see her boyfriend more than mickey (can you imagine that????

)
i don't recall where we slept....either at a motel or maybe at the airbase?
after dropping our friend off at the air force base (in north carolina? south carolina? georgia? i don't remember where). we went on to the naval base at pensacola before driving to WDW to pick up my friend's sister who came with us to disney....so clearly we had lots of stops along the way...
and thinking back, that was a very interesting visit....we drove in her sister's car to pick up a few things for the trip...when we drove back onto the base, all the soldiers saluted the car as it drove by....how ridiculous....officers' cars are marked and the soldiers are required to salute the car.....insane....her husband was a navy flier (top gun and all that), but he wasn't in the car with us, yet they still had to salute....to the car!!! crazy crazy...
anyway, the 3 of us camped out in a tent in fort wilderness....this was way back in 1974......one of the most fun visits i ever had to WDW......that was back when FW was much much much smaller and a whole lot quieter than it is now.... though still i think i'd like to stay there again some time...though not in a tent!!
memories...
