For those of you who have outstanding pending offers with any of the reward programs, I just wanted you to see the language that is posted on one of the advertisers that a lot of us use. This is the first time that I have seen it put this way:

"Though we will do our best to obtain credit for legitimate non-crediting situations, credit is NOT guaranteed. When we submit a request, the user must have met all requirements, must have their confirmation emails and must STILL be a member. Advertisers pay commissions for customers, and are unwilling to manually credit those that are - by quick cancellation - no longer customers. " (emphasis added)

Hopefully this helps explain why a lot of you are not getting credits when you fill out trouble tickets or disputes or whatever the rewards program has in place. It definitely explains why I haven't won most of the disputes that I have filed. :(

This is very important to remember sounds like the merchants are really cracking down on those who sign up get credit then cancel the next day.

We all need to remember that is better for everyone to hold onto the trial for a few days at least before you cancel. It is important when you sign up for a paid offer to know the terms, when you sign up and when you need to cancel by. Don't cancel next day! If you do this you may be hurting yourself getting the credit (even if you rec'd credit it might be revoked) and others doing the offer since the merchant will pull it down more quickly.

Remember it does not hurt you to hold onto a trial for a few days if it's a 30 day trial you don't need to cancel one day in hold onto it for a while you won't get charged if you hold onto it if you cancel by the trial period that is!

Yes. Please don't cancel ASAP. I try to wait until the trial is almost over (if I cancel). I know I don't want to ruin it for everyone else by the offer being pulled. I also don't want the $$ pulled out of my account either...

Thanks Tricia for all you do!

Angela
